Product Description

A perfect cross between our Elite Performance recumbent shorts and our Expedition recumbent shorts, Bend It Cycling's Moab Recumbent shorts are lightweight but not light on features!

Like our Expedition Shorts and Excursion Pants, our Moab recumbent shorts are perfect for wearing together with Elite Performance Shorts or Elite Performance Tights, but they will give you an incredibly comfortable ride without them as well. The shorts are made from a lightweight and durable high-grade polyester blend. The back of the shorts feature reinforced panels for extreme durability and exceptional comfort while cruising on your 'bent in warm weather. The leg openings can be fastened as close to the leg as you like with flexible string fasteners. Well positioned pockets with extra-sturdy zippers. In addition to all these features, the shorts look fabulous on or off the bike!

• No padding to get in the way of your saddle-free recumbent riding experience
• High-quality, durable, lightweight material
• String fasteners for fully adjustable leg openings
• Highly reflective logos for added safety
• Great match to wear together with Bend It Elite shorts or Elite tights
• Ultra-soft 10-inch inseams
• Waistband adjusters help you get exactly the right fit
• Recumbent-friendly zippered pocket placement
• Reinforced back panels for extra durability and comfort

Care Instructions:
We recommend to wash them inside out in a regular wash cycle with cold water and hang-dry.  For the best results, it is recommended to wash using a delicate or hand wash cycle.

This is my third pair of shorts from Bend-It Cycling. The idea is great - recumbent cyclists really need different shorts from upright bikes. These are comfortable and fit well when riding recumbently. With the three versions, each time the design has gotten better. The very first version had straps and buckles for tightening the leg opening, those flopped around. The second version had velcro, which wore out surprisingly quickly. The current version uses elastic cord and a cord-lock, which seems to be best of all. No flopping around and the cord-lock should last better than velcro. Also, the front closure now has snaps above the zipper instead of velcro, which is another big improvement. The only thing I'd ask for is a bit more of a tab next to the snaps, to make it easier to un-snap.

I dont like to wear tight clothing. Not built for it. After years of riding a recumbent with regular loose sports shorts I searched for shorts made for recumbents and found these. They fit well. Are comfortable and should not be too hot for Summer. Can't ask for more.
